ok, so that didn't work as a link on the page. frustation! I've put the link to myspace in my "some nice places to visit.." section

Well, it appears that in order to get yourself Googled you can forget it unless you have your own website or have a myspace account. So, I've gone the cheapskate route there and got myself a myspace. One thing I'll say is that it is not half as user friendly as blogger. In fact it was serious pain in the ass for the novice (me). Check it out at
Any suggestions on how one can customize a myspace page would be gratefully received

It's amazing how much info there is!

Little by little, bit by bit I am learning the process of navigating the web. The crucial bit of info I now know is that to get people to look a your blog you have to somehow get yourself out there in googleland. This is proving harder than I thought. Its appears to be a catch 22 situation. Google won't recognise you unless people are hitting your site and people won't hit your site unless you are listed on google. HELP!!!!!

It's a very big world out there!

Ok. I've been at this for two hours now and have no idea whether I've got anywhere at all. It really is like learning a new language (groan, that looks like a cliche). I've been trying to set up links to this site. What a proverbial nightmare!!
